M&G has appointed James Tomlins from Cazenove Capital Management to join its fixed income team on 20 June.
Tomlins, who was deputy fund manager of the £630m Cazenove Strategic Bond fund, will work with Stefan Isaacs and Richard Woolnough at M&G. Tomlins brings over a decade of experience in investment management, working previously for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, which merged with BlackRock in 2006. Jim Leaviss, head of M&G retail fixed interest, says: "He brings an extensive experience of investment in European credit, particularly in the high yield market."
